New Innovation in the Entertainment Business

The first 100% AI generated film, Hell Grind, recently premiered at Cannes. Everyone knew this was coming but the astonishing thing is how little it costs at only $500k for the entire development including writing, AI usage, etc.  For comparison the average Hollywood studio movie is $100M+, mid-budget studio film is $20M+ and indie/low budget are usually $3M+.

At these price points there is a new business model here of cheap to create AI films that can target niche communities, genres, and styles. Even doing $1M+ in revenue makes these high ROI projects with a lot of potential upside as a few of these will certainly go viral/hit the mainstream. We will see many more films at a much faster pace using this technology, giving more entertainment options to consumers. Even better, many more directors and creators with visions for film that before could never get the resources to create their vision will gain access.

I am excited for a new form and era of entertainment.
